Gambler’s Fallacy
The mistaken belief that past outcomes affect future results in random games.
Gambler’s Ruin
A situation where a player loses all their money and can no longer continue playing.

Gambling budget / Bankroll
The amount of money set aside for betting, which a player is willing to risk losing.
Game of Chance

Genuine RTP
The actual percentage of wagered money paid back to players, calculated from real outcomes over a specific period.
Getting Down
Placing a wager on an event or game.
Getting Out Stake(s)
A phrase used when a player places a bet and also covers their stake with another bet, ensuring they don’t lose money regardless of the outcome.
Goliath bet
A complex horse racing bet involving eight selections, totaling 247 bets, including 28 doubles, 56 trebles, 76 fivefolds, 28 sixfolds, 8 sevenfolds, and one eightfold accumulator.
Graded bet
A wager officially declared as won, lost, or a push (tie) after the event starts, often referred to as a settled bet.
Grand Salami
The total number of goals scored across all hockey games scheduled for a given day.
Grid
A layout displaying possible betting options, where online players click to place, cancel, or confirm their bets.
Gutshot
In poker, a draw where a player needs one specific card to complete a straight (e.g., holding 6-7 and needing a 5 for 5-6-7-8-9).
